Ever wondered which chapel holds the distinction of being the remotest chapel in Morgannwg/Glamorgan? Well, if you did, I am here to enlighten you (with thanks to Pete, who visited the chapel to take photos for me).
What is Capel Y Baran?
This is Capel y Baran and it is sometimes dubbed the “loneliest chapel in Glamorgan” because of how remote it is. The chapel was designated as such back in 1805, though this is just the official designation and it was likely in use some years prior.
If you have any further information on Capel y Baran, feel free to let me know in the comments section!
