Welsh Histories Magazine June 2026 – DIGITAL COPY
The digital edition of Welsh Histories Magazine for June 2026 has finally arrived!
This month’s Welsh Histories Magazine is the sixth to come in 2026 and covers some of the more niche Welsh history topics! A first for Welsh Histories Magazine, this issue sees two new writers join the team and they bring two fascinating history topics related to the north and south of the country with them. Learn about the topic of valuable art during the Second World War and where Churchill wanted to hide it (spoiler: it was Cymru) and about one of the more important 19th century Cardiff families. The June 2026 issue also delves into the topic of a certain internment camp which held Irish revolutionaries, and also the topic of a fascinating 18th century Welsh painting.
As always, there are some “Did You Know” facts thrown in. I try to make these relevant to the topic and this month’s fun facts reference the theme of Welsh gardens.
This issue of the magazine has been written, created and designed by Niklas George (Welsh Histories founder and owner). We have two guest writers this month. All images used in this issue of Welsh Histories Magazine include the respective owner’s details, where applicable.
Happy reading!
