Did you know that in Cymru (Bro Morgannwg/Vale of Glamorgan, specifically) there exists a stretch of coastline, known as the Bendricks Coastline, and that it is renowned for its fossilised footprints which date back to dinosaurs from 220 million years ago?
What is the Bendricks Coastline & Its Connection to Dinosaurs?
This stretch of coastline is regarded as a Site of Special Scientific Interest and is a crucially important palaeontological site containing all kinds of insight into the dinosaurs which once walked the earth. The footprints date back to the Late Triassic (Norian) period and were first identified in 1974.
