The following article was written by guest writer Huw Davies – a Welshman and long-time supporter of Welsh Histories who has now launched his new app and intellectual forum the Worldmind Society. Read to find out more about it and how you can join. As a supporter of Huw, his work and the Worldmind Society, I have also joined and can be found in the forum’s chatrooms. Feel free to join us!
Worldmind Society
There are plenty of places online to consume history, culture, and ideas.
Very few places to think about them.
Worldmind Society exists for people who feel that something is wrong with how knowledge is treated today. Flattened into content. Reduced to takes. Stripped of depth, context, and consequence.
This is not a feed.
It is not a brand.
It is not built for algorithms.
Worldmind Society is a private intellectual society for people who want serious discussion about civilisation, history, power, memory, collapse, and continuity.
The Simple But Ambitious Aim
• To restore depth to conversations about the past and the present
• To connect people who think globally, historically, and critically
• To explore where civilisation has come from, where it is heading, and what we are repeating without realising
• To create a space where ideas are tested, not performed
There are no influencers here.
No shallow engagement.
No pressure to be loud.
Early members are not “joining a group”.
They are shaping a society.
The long-term vision is to build a trusted circle of thinkers, educators, researchers, creators, and observers who value understanding over noise and truth over trends.
If you have ever felt out of step with modern discourse; if you are tired of history becoming entertainment and if you want conversation that actually goes somewhere, then this is for you.
Worldmind Society is hosted privately on Skool.
Small by design. Serious by intent.
