  1. I’m so glad I found this site ! My father was born in Port Maddoc , at the SHIP INN . His name Henry Crocker Jones , had older brother Jack. Abandoned when young children . Parents owned the Inn , but ??????? My father was eventually raised by his granny in, Longsight Manchester England. At the age of 18 ,came to Canada to find his father David Hugh Jones. Jack Had wife Megan , and 2 boys ,Brian & John. Jack ,when old enough inherited the Inn .Sold it and blew the bundle and Passed away fairly young ! My father “learned” this (during WW2) he was in the Royal Canadian Navy Show ,(singer )performing in London for the “Royals “!! Not a great deal to go on ,so any information would be appreciated . OH ,I was told my Dad had a cousin Ifan ,lived in Aberistwith !!!!!Thank you ,Gail Jones , Vancouver Island , CANADA gailej@protonmail.com
